Noahides and Community
I know my family and I are not the only Noahides, but it certainly feels that way sometimes… well, most of the time. I am sure I am not alone in feeling this way. As much as we can lament this fact (and my wife and I have, and do, our fair share of lamenting this fact), this fact will never change if we do nothing but lament, a fact one could also lament.
So, where do we start? Well, one obvious place is the internet. COVID-19 showed the world just how much we can connect via the internet, if need be. Although, I will be the first to admit, ZOOM meetings and virtual classes are not a full replacement for in-person gatherings.
So, if you are in Southwest Florida (my family and I are in Sarasota), send me a message and perhaps we can figure out some in-person meetings. In the meantime, Noahide Nations started a online Noahide community (think small town Facebook), as well as a virtual meeting room for Noahide groups sorted by state and country.

I do not know of any in Douglas County, Oregon. That being said, I do not know of anybody in Douglas County, Oregon (except you now).
I will reach out to Ray Pettersen of Noahide Nations and a few other people and see if any of them are aware of any Noahides in your area.

Jeremy
Thanks for stopping by the site. I do not personally know anyone in your area. However, there is a group listed on the Noahide Nations Academy of Shem website under the Colorado group. The info listed:
NoCo Noahides, Neil Hurst, Ft. Collins, CO., Web Site
I will reach out to a few other people and see if they know any other people in your area.
As far as any community at all, I know there is some or one in the Dallas-ish area in Texas. There are a few in other countries. I've heard the one in the Philippines is pretty large. But, yeah, that is one of the biggest challenges for Noahides. I am sure there are others around, but for the most part they seem to be small and not many. With the increased use of online platforms such as ZOOM, I know more Rabbis and Noahides have been trying to adapt. But that really isn't a satisfying replacement for people in person. Hopefully this changes soon. I am in Florida, so not much I can do about Colorado, but anything else you think I can help with, let me know.
If you would like to talk on the phone or communicate via e-mail, let me know. jeremy@noahidelife.com
